We received in our Embassy the Tango Maestros, Lucas Boock and Bianca Vrcan, tango dancers and coaches who are exploring the local tango scene after their vast experience in Argentina and the Balkans.

During the meeting, in dialogue with the Chargé d’ affaires Juan B. Scartascini del Río and the Press and Culture team of the Embassy, the tango professionals presented their efforts in spreading the Argentine tango music and culture in Armenia stressing the impressive response of the local tango community that does not stop growing.

They presented their different musical and pedagogical projects, both in Argentina and Montenegro, and their desires to promote the culture of tango in a more than promising and no less vibrant local scene.

Having made a brief demonstration at the Argentine Cultural Centre of our Embassy, we discussed the possible cooperation between both parties, looking forward to an upcoming visit to Armenia.

Finally they presented the great event that will mark their farewell of this, his first tour in Armenia and the region with the "Farewell Milonga", which together with the local tango collective "MilonGata", on Saturday night, January 20, at the Congress Hotel, honoring us with their invitation and extended to the Argentine community in Armenia and all tango lovers.
